Don Stott Memorial Restaurant

Our restaurant is downstairs from the clubrooms and seats approximately 80 people. It is named after Don Stott, a Birkenhead local and one of New Zealand's bravest military heroes.

Operators: Monarch Catering (Jan & Geoff Zuydendorp)

Monarch Catering have been catering in clubs (mostly RSA's) since 1993. Geoff has been a chef for over 35 years and was the executive chef and invented the desserts for the "Death By Chocolate" dessert restaurant chain in the 1990's. We believe in the concept of RSA meals (good value, quality meals) and our pricing shows this. We have been at the Birkenhead RSA since December 04.

Hours:
Lunch: Wednesday to Friday 12pm - 2pm
Dinner: Wednesday and Thursday 5:30pm - 8pm
Friday and Saturday 5:30pm - 8.30pm
Sunday 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Other times for groups by arrangement

Menu information:
Lunch: Superb value $10 all you can eat Buffet during winter, changed daily.
Blackboard menu with mains from $10 during summer.

Dinner: All new Blackboard Menu changed nightly and including special value $10 meals now available all night.
An extensive menu is available at all times that the restaurant is open.
Sunday nights Buffet Dinner Soup and Mains only $10 with desserts at $5.50 members discounts also apply.

Members special: For Birkenhead RSA members only, $1 off all main courses and 50 cents off deserts with your membership card ($21,000 saved by our members in 2007).

Special events: Nights such as Mothers Day and New Year's Eve, we have a celebration smorgasbord meal. On these nights our usual menu will not be available.
